Kishtwar, Dec 12: Senior youth leader of District Kishtwar,Joginder Bhandari urged upon the Governor Satya Pal Malik to order an enquiry into the large scale back door appointments made in Chenab Valley Power Projects (CVPP).
Joginder Bhandari,a Sr. Youth leader of District Kishtwar has said that the management of Chenab Valley Power Projects have recruited a large number of youths as engineers and trainee officers from out side the state setting aside all the recruitment norms which has caused a brewing resentment among the deserving unemployed youths of District Kishtwar.
He blamed the management of Chenab Valley Power Projects( CVPP) for ignoring the unemployed youths of District Kishtwar where three major hydroelectric projects are going to be executed. He further added and said that the appointees are either the kith and kins of NHPC officers or those who have graced the palms of the higher officers of CVPP.
He also said that the contractors engaged for the execution of Pakal Full Hydroelectric Project have started recruiting manpower from out side the state and local unemployed youths are being totally ignored.
Those attended the meeting included Rinku Sen, Anil Sharma, Mohd Asharf Gannie, Rajinder Singh Shan, Shanker Singh Wazir, Ranjeet Sharma, Surjeet Badyal, Akhter Hussain Shiekh, Mohd Amin, Gh. Hussain Gannie and others. |
