| One killed, 5 injured in road mishap | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16: One person was killed while five other sustained injures when the minibus they were travelling in turned turtle at Ambphall area.
Police spokesman said that today an accident took place on BC road at Ambphalla near Keshav Bhawan when a minibus bearing registration umber JK02U-0339 driven by unknown driver who fled from the spot turned turtle due to which one person was killed while five sustained injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Kuldeep Singh (48) son of Ranjeet Singh of Nagrota while injured have been identified as Simran (35) wife of Sunny of Jagti Nagrota, Kartik (6) son of Sunny of Nagrota, Guddi Devi (35) wife of Yog Raj of Doda, Sonika Koul (37) wife of Rajinder Koul of Nagrota, Kajal (17) daughter of Romesh of Katal Batal Nagrota.
Police shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) while body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital.
Police have registered a case in this regard and seized the minibus while launched manhunt to nab the absconding driver. |
