| Kids Planet Public School celebrates Annual day | | |  Early Times Report
Akhnoor, Dec 16: Kids Planet Public School Akhnoor celebrated its annual day function of senior students at RMG International School Jandial with theme "STREE"(The women of Incredible India),where students through various enactments showed the journey of women from vedic period to 21st century, how she crossed all constraints and became rogue to ignorant customs f society,and how education improved her life ,gave her wings to fly high in all spheres of life.
The occasion was festooned with the presence of Former Minister and Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma as the chief guest and Meenu Mahajan the first Mrs India 2016 from J&K as guest of honour.
The event began with lighting of spiritual lamp by the chief guest, guest of honour, chairman Rohit Gupta, Principal Mona Gupta and administrative staff.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma counted the restless efforts of the school to enhance the children to participate whole heartily in all the activities.
He urged the students to make use of the excellent facilities and technologies available to them these days like smart classes, internet which brings information at the tips of their fingers. He also stressed that teachers & parents should freely interact with their children in local language to promote it.
Sham Sharma also emphasized that besides academics and sports,students are showing their talents in various other categories,so to exhibit their output all the institutions organised annual functions, educational trips and various infra and inter school competitions. |
