KISHTWAR, Dec 20: Bringing laurels to her parents and the school, a girl from Kishtwar clinched first position in the state level essay writing competition organized by Indian Army in collaboration with Directorate of School Education, Jammu and J&K Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages on the theme of "Martyrs of our locality and gallantry awards owning families".
The girl, Tabeen Roshan Butt, daughter of Firdous Ahmed Butt and Roshan Ara, resident of Sarkoot Kishtwar, is a student of Asraria Valley High School Kishtwar brought laurels to the district as well as his alma matter by outshining the competitors of 22 districts of the state.
Speaking to Early Times, Tabeen credited her parents, teachers, friends for their able support which immensely contributed to achieving this feat. |
