JAMMU, Dec 20: In a State level Music Competition of "Patriotic song" organized by State Sainik Board in collaboration with J&K Cultural Academy of Art & Languages, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Scouts and Guide & Director School Education, a total of 1200 schools had participated. Nagbani School stood first & qualified the Quarter Finals & won a Cash Award of Rs. 8000/- thereby entering into the Semi-Finals. Again the first position was bagged by the Nagbani team & they were awarded Rs. 15,000/- Cash Prize. In the Grand Finale, Nagbani students mesmerized the august gathering by presenting a beautiful rendition and added one more diamond to the crown by coming 1st. they got the trophy from the state Governor, Satya Pal Malik, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion of Flag Day Celebration. This time a cash prize of Rs 20,000/- was presented to the School Students. The efforts of the School music teachers Upma Sharma, Ravi Sharma and Deepak Kumar were applauded a lot. These accolades brought the school to yet another platform and the adulation received by them were due to the collaborative efforts of the School Principal Sween Puri, the music teachers and the students. |
