Poonch, Dec 21: While the government employees were given one month additional salary for poll duty, the police department has been left out no5twithstanding the strenuous duty they performed during recently concluded ULB and Panchayat polls.
The decision of the government to ignoring the police department has evoked criticism. "If they are government employees and perfomed poll duty, they must not be left out. They deserve a fair deal," some concerned citizens were heard saying. |
