| Bovine Smuggling catch at Udhampur, 14 bovine animals rescued | | | Early Times Report
udhampur, Dec 21: Udhampur Police today rescued 14 bovine animals at Battal Morh, Majalta, Udhampur.
Police spokesman said that based on reliable information, Police party of Police Station Majalta led by Inspector Narinder Jasrotia-SHO Majalta under the supervision of DySP Jagdev Singh Slathia-SDPO Ramnagar raised naka near Battal Morh, Majalta for checking of vehicles.
"Noticing the police party, driver of the vehicle parked his vehicle bearing registration number HR47C-6010 roadside and fled away from the spot by taking the advantage of heavy traffic on road", said spokesman.
He further said that during the checking of said vehicle, 14 Bovine animals were found illegally loaded in this vehicle.
All the bovine animals were rescued and the vehicle was seized, said spokesman
In this connection, a case under FIR No.103 /2018 under section 188 of RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Majalta and further investigation is going on. |
