JAMMU, Dec 21: Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) in collaboration with and sponsorship of Food Safety Department, J&K organized a Prize distribution function at Kala Kendra, Jammu. The function was organised to give the prizes to the winners of Poster Making Competition organized by JKCCA in collaboration with Food safety department during Swash Bharat Yatra programme held at Govt. College for Womem, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Commissioner Food Safety, Jammu & Kashmir, was the Chief Guest on this occasion whereas Pooja Gupta, Advisor Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts was the Guest of Honour. Pravesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety, Municipal Limits, Jammu and O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA shared the dais. Students of twelve schools and colleges had participated in Poster making Competition this completion under various age group categories. Speaking on this occasion Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Commissioner Food Safety, J&K said that message of having good food habits could be better conveyed through art activity of the children. He said that the children get the messages to their friends and parents so they become the medium of spreading the good word across many people. He further added that the good food habits inculcated among the children would help in developing a healthy future generation. Pravesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety, Municipal Limits, Jammu in his address said that the children should learn good food habits through light activities like poster making competitions. He said that the children must be conveyed the message about what is good and what is not good for them and advised the children to be more about good food habits. Welcoming the guests, O P Sharma, Director, Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts said that through art activities the young children are easily motivated to grasp the idea of good eating habits and it can help them avoid the fast food habits. Other speakers also expressed their views on this occasion. Prizes were given in various age groups as Amateurs Group: 1st Prize to Diksha, GCW, Parade, 2nd Prize to Meemansa, GCW, Gandhi Nagar, 3rd Prize to Muskan rajput, GCW, Parade Jammu and Certificate of Merit were given to Shilpa Attri and Ananya, GCW, Gandhi Nagar and Raksha gurang, University of Jammu. Senioirs Group: 1st Prize to Navneet Kaur, New National Hr. Sec. School, Miran sahib, 2nd Prize to Sakshi Sharma, K V No. 1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, 3rd Prize to Anvi Choudhary, K V No. 1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Certificates of Merit to Pehu Gupta and Palavi Thakur, R M Public School, Jammu and Arun Kumar, Environment School, Jammu. Juniors Group: 1st Prize to Arushi Jasrotia, R M Public School, 2nd Prize to Sukriti Uppal, R M Public School, Jammu and Certificates of Merit to Soumya Pathak, Scientia International School, Bantalab, Jammu, Prabhjot Singh, New National Public School, Jammu, Vanshika Dhiman, K M Public School, Jammu, Prisha Magotra, Jesus Care Convent School, Patoli, Jammu. Prominent among others who were present on this occasion included Ram Rakha, Divisional Manager, BSNL, O P Shakir, writer, Anil Saraf, S. Rajinder Singh Raina, former Director, Doordarshan, Leh, S.
