Several educational institutions celebrate Christmas across Jammu

Jammu, Dec 24: Various educational institutions celebrated Christmas with zeal and zest at their school preemies.
Mount Litera Zee School, Anand Nagar, Bohri, Jammu and its junior wing "KIDZEE" celebrated "CHRISTMAS" in the school premises with religious fervour and enthusiasm in the presence of Chairman Er. Parneesh Mahajan, Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Principal Manikarnika Bhasin, Co-ordinator Radhika Mahajan, staff and students. The celebration started with a special assembly in which the students highlighted the concept behind the Christmas celebrations.
Daffodils Care Convent Pre School Jain Bazar celebrated Christmas Day with great pomp and show. The crib and the Christmas Tree was decorated with balloons, stars and buntings. The children were attired as Santa's Claus and Fairies and children showed the birth of Jesus Christ through a play , sang Christmas carols and danced on the tunes of Jingle Bells. Main attraction of the celebration was Santa's Ride with his bell, distributed candies to the children and the Fairy dance showering blessing on Lords Jesus and Mother Mary. The Principal Shikha Puri conveyed the message of doing goods deeds, love peace and joy.
KIDZEE, a pre-school of "ZEE Learn Ltd" celebrated "CHRISTMAS" at its branches: Talab Tillo, Gandhi Nagar and Channi Himmat with religious fervor and enthusiasm. The celebration started with a special assembly in which the students highlighted the concept behind the Christmas celebrations. A Christmas tree decorated with glittering buntings, bells, stars and gifts was the centre of attraction for all the children. The toddlers were attired as "Santa Claus and Fairies".
Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu decided to celebrate Christmas by following the preaching of Jesus Christ who immensely believed in the notion of charity. In this context Rakesh from Global Cancer Concern India, a leading NGO for Cancer patients delivered a speech motivating the children to donate generously for cancer patients and our Sanskritians met his expectations pretty well and a donation of substantial amount was generated.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public Hr. Sec. School Kunjwani Jammu celebrated Christmas Day in the school Auditorium on 24th December 2018 with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted in which students spoke on the significance of the Christmas Day. Cultural programme was held in the school auditorium . The chairman of the school greeted the students on the this occasion. In his message chairman said Christmas Day is a festival celebrated as the birthday of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
R M Public School celebrated Christmas. On this occasion, students sang jingles and carols and participated in different activities. All the students and teachers participated in this function enthusiastically. R.M public school thus inculcates and imbibes the secular values in the students by giving them an exposure to different religions. Students also participated in games activity prepared by the teachers and students also won so many gifts. In this function the stage was decorated beautifully. The Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Trustee Rita Mengi, principal Ravinder Kour and building incharges Arti rajput and suman Lata were also presents there. Everyone appreciated the efforts of all the students and teachers.
Stephen International Public School celebrated Christmas ,the birth of Lord Jesus was joyously. A special assembly was organized to spread the message of love and joy. Melodious carols presented by the choir group, followed by enthralling dance performances by students added to the festive atmosphere. The students dressed as shepherds and mother Mary presented a skit depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. The Director Satvinder Saini and Principal M.K Agnihotri extended warm greetings on this auspicious occasion. The students were asked to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Sai Shyam Public Hr. Sec. School and Sai Shyam College of Education, Ghou-Manhasan, Jammu celebrated Christmas in the institution with great zeal and enthusiasm. A Christmas tree was decorated in middle of School ground and students performed different cultural activities viz Dancing, Group Singing and also spoke about the sanctity of this festival. C. L. Tickoo (Chairman of Educational Society) was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Principal of College Dr. Usha Tickoo also spoke in the occasion and highlighted the importance of the festivals among the students.
G L S Public School Talab Tillo Jammu and its play way wing, G L S Kids Cocoon Nursery celebrated Christmas with great fervour and Joy. Every year, on this day, the school also celebrates collective Birthdays of students from Class Pre-Nursery to Class U K G. Children had come dressed in different colourful dresses and some boys were dressed as Santas and girls as fairies and thus relived the spirit of Christmas. The children also performed dance and sang songs.
Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School Akalpur Morh, Jammu celebrated Christmas with great respect and reverence for the God'Jesus Christ'. A special morning assembly was organised in which students from all wings gave their respective presentations on Christmas. Krishna and Shilpa from class 9th delivered speeches on Christmas . The main attraction of the whole programme was the tiny toddlers who came in colourful Santa Clause and fairy dresses. School Principal Annapurna Koul wished everyone "Merry Christmas" on the occasion and advised the students to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ.
International Delhi Public School, Kathua celebrated Christmas today with great zeal and enthusiasm, a special assembly in the school premises.
The assembly began with the school prayer, students ushered the Christmas spirit with soul stirring rendition of age old carols and nativity scene showcasing the birth of Prince of Peace, the real essence of Christmas.
They beautifully created a scene of what happened thousands of years ago. Students of pre-primary wing were dressed fantastically for fancy dress competition.
Primary wing AKSHAR of Maharaja Hari Singh DAV Public Hr Sec School celebrated Christmas Day today in the School premises inwhich students of pre primary wing participated. The programme started with the lighting of holy lamp by the Chairman of the institution. He congratulated the students of the institution on this Occasion The principal of the institution delivered a speech on this occasion and wished for peace in the world.

The students' attire in Santa Clause and fames, presented different cultural items to show the importance of the day and through their speeches and skits. They also threw light on the life of Lord Jesus Ram Lai Sharma School Secretary was the Chief Guest and Principal Mam was Guest of Honour.
Christmas celebrations were held in the premises of Delhi Public School, Udhampur. The celebrations started with prayers by the school choir followed by Carol singing. All the students came clad in red colour.
The students of Kartar Public School celebrated christmas in a joyous manner on Monday. They held a special assembly and presented speeches on the genesis of the festival. Some students were dressed in the attire of Santa Claus. The tiny tots were dressed in colourful costumes. Some students sang Christmas carols.
Chief patron and patron of Kartar Educational Trust Sardarni & Sardar Rajnit Singh were also present on the occasion. Chairman of the school, Er. Nirmaljit Singh greeted the students on this occasion
Pre-Primary wing of R. M. Public School has organized a visit to Church on the eve of Christmas. On the eve of Christmas coordinator of Pre-Primary wing Nadia has organized a visit to Church to educate the students about the importance of Christmas Day and reason that why we celebrate Christmas Day. All the students of Pre-Primary wing have brought candles from their homes. All the teachers and students along with their coordinator have given blessful send off by the Trustee of R. M. Public School Rita Mengi, Principal Ravinder Kour and Incharge Suman Lata.
Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua organized a pre-christmas function on 24th of December 2018, Monday with much pomp and show.
Tiny Tots of pre-primary section celebrated christmas by exhibiting their talents through songs and mesmerizing dance performances. They emphasized the importance of caring and sharing and spreading goodness of all around. The children spread cheer with their smiles and lovely attire. Coordinator Monika Sharma praised and appreciated the efforts of little tots of pre primary section.
Alexander Memorial School Jammu also celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and religious joy. The Christmas and the New year celebration was graced by the Chief Guest Balwant Thakur.
Ester Williams, Principal- Alexander Memorial Jammu and Isaac Daniel, Eminent Educationist was also present on the occasion.
Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan celebrated the Christmas day. The entire campus was festooned with colourful streamers and balloons and a brightly decorated Christmas tree.
Various dances, songs, humming of the Christmas carols by young ones with sparkle in their eyes was enjoyed by everyone with great applause. Santa too made a grand entry in the school premises packed with the children. The delight was uncontained especially as he brought out the gifts. On this occasion Special assembly was conducted.
British International School celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ in a grand manner School wore a festive look with bells, streamers and beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Students of kindergarten were dressed as fairies and Santa Claus. Students of level 1 and 2 presented a group dance followed by Carols song by students of level 3 , 6 and 7. A play on the birth of Christ was the highlight of the celebration which was followed by a dance performance by the senior students. Gita Sharma the Chairperson of the school in her Christmas Message said that the Spirit of giving and sharing should be inculcated among the children and that happiness lies in celebrating any occasion together as a family.
JK Montessorie British School celebrated Christmas in school premises here today with religious fervour, enthusiasm and gaiety.
The programme started with a special assembly to educate children about the significance of the festival "Christmas" by presented a stage stone" Birth of Jesus Christ".
The program also witnessed card making competition aimed at to promote creativity among the students. Tiny toddlers were present in colourful costumes depicting the roles of "fairy" and " santa"
