| Drug peddler held with 5 gram heroin | | | Early Times Report
samba, Dec 24: In its continuous drive against the drug menace, District Police Samba under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma-SSP Samba arrested one drug peddler and recovered 5 gram heroin (Chitta) from his possession. Police spokesman said that a police party of police station Bari Brahmana headed by Inspector-Ravinder Singh Rakwal-SHO Bari Brahmana under the supervision of DySP Sunil Kesar-SDPO Bari Brahmana during patrolling in Sarore Adda area near Sukhyani Talab, Bari Brahmana intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances. "During frisking, 5 gram of heroin (Chitta) was recovered from the possession of said person namely Gulzar Ahmed alias Gaggu of Gujjar Basti, Sarore Adda, Bari Brahmana. The said drug peddler was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard a case under FIR No. 217/2018 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Bari Brahmana police station and investigation started. |
