| Excise Team seized Cement truck | | |

JAMMU, Dec 24: Excise team headed by Senior excise officer Bilal Kraipak nabbed a vehicle bearing No. JK08-8194 driven by Amit alias Chottu at Chabba check Kote Punnu area along with active support of police team Kote Punnu. As per excise officals, the said vehicle was smuggling cement through illegal route and thus evading toll tax of cement creating huge loss to goverment exchequer.
On this Penalty to the tune of Rs. 30360 was imposed and recovered on spot. The concerned officer has warned the smuglar to mend the ways otherwise huge penalty will be imposed as per rule for evading tax. |
