| ATM machine found attached with skimming device | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 24: ATM kiosk of SBI Bank was found attached with skimming device technique by someone with malafide intention to dupe the card holder by cloning their debit/credit at Canal Road. Police sources said that information was received at police post Canal that some suspicious element has been attached in Card insertion point of SBI ATM situated opposite Commerce College Jammu.
Accordingly, men in civvies led by SI Sohan Singh-incharge police post Canal Road were deployed around the ATM but no suspect was found, while checking ATM, it was found that an improvised machine using ATM Skimming technique was attached with the ATM by someone with malafide intention to dupe the card holder by cloning their debit/credit card with the help of skimming device.
Police have seized the said device and an enquiry has been started to unearth the scandal and persons involved in it. |
