JAMMU, Dec 29: One day Awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Mohalla Ishrara Bagh Sidhra Bye Pass Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the guidance of V.K. Singh, IPS, DGP, Commandant General Homeguards/CD & SDRF J&K, Muneer Ahmad Khan, IPS, ADGP HG/CD & SDRF J&K, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu and under supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness Camp the local peoples were make aware about the knowledge of First Aid, (CPR, Chocking, Snakebite) and Fire fighting by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization in the community. Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu has also asked the people to join Defence organization as a volunteer basis to serve the nation. At least 80 civilian and other prominent citizens of the local area were attended the programme. Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Anwar Ali, Post Warden & Rahat Ali, Sector Warden of the area were also present on the occasion. |
