poonch, Dec 29: Open volleyball tournament commenced today under the aegis of District Administration Poonch in collaboration with District unit of JKSSC at the Government High school AJOTE Poonch. 13 teams are participating in the Tournament
The chief guest of the opening ceremony was Headmistress Naseem Akhter Qureshi. She met with all the young participants of Poonch participating in the tournament. She further congratulated District Administration Poonch for giving opportunity to the youths of Poonch by organizing such kind of events.
Pahari Hostel Boys team outplayed High School Ajote team by 2-0. Final score 25-18, 25-10. In the second match Gujjar Hotel Boys team defeated High Secondary School team by 2-1 .Final score 25-20,19-25,25-18. In the final match, Manjeet Club defeated Dehrian Club by 2-0, final score 25-12, 25-21.
All matches were conducted under the Technical supervision of Nirdosh kumar Manager Sports Stadium Poonch. Ans organizing Secretary of the Championship
