JAMMU, Dec 30: A team of National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) today visited Sunrise Public School, a unit of Sunrise Educational Trust. Manpreet Kour, founder trustee of Sunrise Public School explained about the activities of school to chief guest Kuldeep Sharma, vice president NIPCCD, and his team members. She informed that they started this school with 6 to 8 boys and girls and now we have the strength of 187 boys and girls and providing free education, free books, free uniforms and refreshments to weaker section of the society since 2012. On the occasion, Kuldeep Sharma appreciated the management and staff members of the school and said you are doing such a noble cause particularly providing education that is free of cost and even not charging a single rupee. He went around all the classes and interacted with the students and even parents also and said he has visited many schools in J&K and even outside the state but he never come across this type of school in his life. |
