Udhampur, Jan 2: The sports stadium here has no drinking water to offer to the sports persons who come here to sharpen their skills.
"We either have to carry a water bottle with us or purchase a bottle from the market," Balbir, a footballer said.
Pertinently a hand pump catered to the needs of the sports persons earlier but the pump has now lost its lever, making it dysfunctional.
"The sports authorities, PHE and district administration should collectively see into the problem of grave concern and do something in this regard," said a teen practicing badminton said. |
