Jammu, Jan 7: NSS Unit of the GDC Akhnoor inaugurated a ten days Winter Camp in the College.
The principal of the College Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma was the Chief guest on the occasion and highlighted the importance of such camps for the students and stressed upon them to work for the prosperity and growth of nation.
Senior NSS volunteer Rashmi Singh read the schedule of activities to be performed during camp which include beautification and maintenance of college, Quiz Competition, Poster making competition, Debates and Symposium that promotes National Social Service Scheme. About 100 students attended the programme. In the inaugurated function Dr. Suresh Sharma, NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Kuldeep Kumar, Prof. Sunil Kumar were also present.
