SRTC volunteer retired employees' association demand pending wages | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 7: All J&K SRTC volunteer retired employees association held a Secretariat gherao Rally at Exhibition ground Jammu under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali President of VRS Union Dev Raj Bali in the said rally strongly criticized the callous attitude of the state administration and transport higher authorities of the J&K government, as these two authorities are bent upon to shuttle from one office to other and they are in connivance to put us in such a miserable conditions as we have already suffered a huge loss in this long struggle of 8 years. He added total amount is still pending of dues of Cola arrears, 6th Pay Commission arrears and bonus at the rate of 8.33% of the basic pay. And, in this long struggle 39 VRS employees have breathed their last as they could not afford good treatment for want of funds, which are responsible for their families' irreparable losses. He further added that now we appeal to the Governor of the J&K to please give a patience hearing to our genuine demand of clearance of dues as we have been struggling from the last 8 years. We have been promised that the time of VRS, GHS that one who took the VRS/GHS his dues will be cleared within 60 days but we have been struggling for the last many years. |
