| Inculcate moral values in students: Sham Sharma | | |  Early Times Report
akhnoor, Jan 7: Former Minister and Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma today said that overall development of a student is fundamental to character building thus a successful future. The former minister was speaking during annual function of Bharduwaj School, Barui Akhnoor. He was chief guest on the occasion. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lightening of lamp by the chief guest, and other dignitaries. While addressing the gathering, Sham Lal appreciated efforts of kids for presenting colorful programme. He said that such type of events not only provide platform to children to showcase their hidden talent but also make them aware about their cultural heritage. The former minister asked teaching fraternity to provide quality as well as moral values to the students. He further said that teachers are the main-architect who shape the personality of students by giving them quality education. Highlighting the role of teachers and parents in the life of children, Sharma said that a child is nourished by parents while the teacher shapes his personality and gives him a new direction. He called upon the parents to send their wards to schools for becoming good citizens of the country. Former Minister asked the students community to work for unity and integrity of the country and also appealed to the parents to come forward and support their children in this mission. Sham appreciated the management of the school, stating that they are doing lot of efforts for the overall development of the kids, who are future of our country. He said that school has done a lot of progress and hardworking staff of the school is laying a strong foundation for future growth of kids. |
