Vegetable Association meets Sham Lal Sharma, discusses various problems | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 9: A function of Vegetable Association Narwal Mandi, Jammu was held here today. Former Minister and Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma was specially invited on the occasion by its newly elected president Surinder Singh Kala. During this meeting, various points were highlighted. The Association has brought various problems confronted by them which include issue of Kerosene oil, facilities of well equipped Health Centre etc in the notice of Sham Lal Sharma. They said though a small health centre is existing but that is not well equipped nor any medical officer is available there. They further brought into the notice of Sharma that health centres in vegetable market across the country are fully equipped so that timely medicare is provided to the needy. They demanded that such type of health centres should be provided in the vegetable market. They appreciated the works of erstwhile Congress Government which it did for vegetable dealers. During interaction with Sharma, the Association members said that brought out the various problems to the notice of previous BJP PDP Govt at number of times but no action was taken to resolve them. Sham Lal listened to their problems patiently and assured them that he will take up their genuine problems with the appropriate authorities and will ensure immediate resolution of same swiftly. |
