Man found dead with knife wounds

Jammu, Jan 13: Mystery shrouded after body of a man was found with knife wounds in Chakwa village falling under the jurisdiction of Batote police station. "A body with suspected knife wounds was found lying in a house in Chakwa village of Batote tehsil", said a police source adding that after getting the information police reched the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of the hospital.
Police identified the deceased as Purushottam Chand (30) son of Madan Lal of Chakwa.
Police said a case in this connection has been registered and further investigation in this regard has been initiated.
