| Drug peddler held with 6 gram heroin | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 13: In continuation to operation 'Sanjeevani', launched by Jammu police, Nowabad police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 6 grams heroin like substance from his possession.
Police spokesman said that acting on specific information, police raised a anaka and intercepted a person.
"During search, police recovered 6 grams heroin like substance from his possession", said spokesman adding that he disclosed his identity as Rashpal Jamwal of Raipur Nardani Jammu.
Police further said that in this connection a case under FIR No. 05/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Nowabad and further questioning of the arrested is on to ascertain the source of the drugs. |
