| 2 drug peddlers held with 20 gram charas | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Jan 13: In its continuous drive against the drug menace, District Police Samba under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma-Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Bari Brahmana police station and recovered 20 gram charas from their possession.
Police spokesman said that a Police Party of Bari Brahmana police station headed by Inspector Darshan Singh-SHO Bari Brahmana under the supervision of DySP Sunil Kesar-SDPO Bari Brahmana during patrolling in Industrial area, Bari Brahmana intercepted two persons who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
"During frisking, 20 gram charas was recovered from the possession of both persons namely Harjinder Singh and Ashwani Kumar both residents of Channi Karthroli, Bari Brahmana", said spokesman adding that the said drug peddlers were arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized.
In this regard a case under FIR No. 10/2019 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Bari Brahmana and investigation is started. |
