| NHM employees hold one day convention | | |  Early Times Report
Doda, Jan 13: A one day long convention cum meeting of National Health Mission Employees, was held at District Hqr Doda on Sunday which was chaired by District President NHM Union Doda Faizan A Tramboo. The meeting was attended by representatives from each block, active members and NHM Employees of the District. While speaking on the occasion, District President Faizan A Tramboo said that more than 12000 NHM Employees of the state have been waiting anxiously for their regularization but its unfortunate instead of solving our issues, the Govt has failed in all fronts to provide relief to our miseries. During the course of discussion, it was observed that most of the issues are still lingering on and pending though the union in this regard has submitted ample of representations to previous regimes and Governor administration. The main demands which was mainly highlighted in the meeting includes immediate formulation of regularization policy, implementation of equal pay for equal work, enhancement of salary of Paramedical and Management Staff and rural incentives for Paramedics at par with Medical Officers. Tramboo further added that they went from post to pillar for their regularization but as of now Govt has totally maintained silence towards our demands. He also said that its the responsibility of the State Govt to regularize our services, saying that our demands are logical and genuine and acknowledge by the authorities as NHM Employees are termed as the backbone of the health department. |
