| VC JDA lays foundation stone of park | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 13: Vice Chairman JDA, P.S. Rathore KAS laid the foundation stone of JDA Park at 1-C, East Extension Trikuta Nagar here today. Prominent among others present at the foundation stone laying ceremony were (President-Welfare Association) IGP (Rtd) A. Q. Manhas IPS; Arvinder Kumar (Vice President- Welfare Association), Prof. K. L. Bhatia, Advocate Sampooran Singh (Secretary), S.A. Rauf, Fire Services Officer (Rtd) and Khalil-ul-Rehman, SP (Rtd).
A large number of residents of the locality were present on the occasion with the Lohri festivity all around.
The residents of the area conveyed their thanks to the VC-JDA for his efforts in paving the way for laying the foundation stone of the park. While terming the JDA Park as a gift for the residents especially for the senior citizens and children, the office bearers of the Welfare Association thanked all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion with their presence. |
