PoK DPs indefinite chain dharna enters day 18
1/13/2019 10:46:49 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 13: S. O. S. International an organization of PoK displaced persons struggling for the genuine demands of displaced persons have entered into 18th day of indefinite chain dharna outside PoK displaced person's head office at Bakshi Nagar, Jammu under the chairmanship of Rajiv Chuni who is leading the dharna from front.
Today's dharna has been lead by team Nowshera (District Rajouri) by Sushil Kumar assisted by Sanjay Chowdhary, Kuldeep Raj, Jagdish Chander, Gulu Ram and Sachin Khokher. Sushil Kumar said that all these dharna holders represent the border belt of Nowshera which is very prone to risk due to frequent firing by the Pakistan forces from across the LoC and as such the whole Nowshera and its adjoining villages are PoK DPs dominated population and is being represented by Ravinder Raina who is ex-MLA and at present state president of BJP. Sushil Kumar however resented that Raina never raised any voice in favour of these displaced when he was MLA on BJP mandate for four years in the assembly even for four seconds though won with thumping majority with our open support.
"He used to proclaim himself as "Chotta Modi of J&K" and can get everything done but we feel ashamed that he did nothing for displaced community. Raina all the times used to chant that he believes in PM doctrine "Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas" in almost all the meetings but these lines proved to be a hollow slogan, but in fact he did nothing to resolve our issues never he cared to visit dharna sthal to listen their grievances and resolve the issue nor he took up the matter with Government of India or State Government", Sushil Kumar added. Sushil Kumar Pledged that during the coming assembly elections they will not support/render help such persons in ensuing elections and will ensure their defeat as they have not helped us in the adversity.
