Jammu, Feb 12: Dr. Anil Bhat, Assistant Professor, Agricultural Economics, SKUAST-Jammu got best oral presentation research paper award in National Conference on "Women Empowerment through Agro-Entrepreneurship for Livelihood Security' organized by Society for Integrated Development of Agriculture, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences (SIDAVES) which was held at Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-Jammu. The award was presented by Prof. P. K. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu and Prof. J. P. Sharma, Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. N. S. Rathore, DDG, Agriculture Education, ICAR, New Delhi. The valedictory function was attended by statutory officers of the university, eminent scientists from across the country, head of the divisions and faculty members. The paper entitled "Economic Analysis of Mushroom Production for Empowering Women" discussed about the importance of mushroom cultivation for women. The paper gives a brief explanation about status of women as compare to national level. |
