Some BJP, Sangh leaders opposing Assembly, Parliament elections jointly | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 12: Enjoying absolutely power without any accountability during President's rule, a group of BJP leader, who have never contested elections at any stage, is working overtime to get assembly elections delayed. During the President's rule and during earlier tenure of Governor's rule, this group has managed adjustment of their family members and relatives on important positions so these BJP leaders are giving wrong feed back to the high command on timing of the assembly elections in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Credible sources said that these leaders have asked others to make unanimity to get the assembly elections deferred after Lok Sabha polls. Sources said that there is virtual divide in BJP on holding both the elections on same time because majority of the MLAs and former ministers, who had enjoyed power, are of the view that elections should be held with Parliament elections but other influential group is pressuring all leaders to unanimously asked high command to defer assembly polls. Not only BJP even some Sangh leaders are against holding Assembly elections along with Parliament polls because these leaders are also taking advantage of Governor's rule. Some Sangh leaders have already managed adjustment of their family members on important positions. |
