Jammu, Feb 12: Sarvodaya Public School celebrated its annual sports meet today. Subash Chander Sharma trustee of the school was the guest of honour. The series of events began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by Subash Chander Sharma and other members of the management.
The students showcased their talents in Kabbadi, 100 and 200 metre race, Taekwondo, three leg race, balloon busting, Garland making, tug of war, Badminton and lemon race which left the spectators spell bound. Meritorious players were felicitated with medals by the guest of honour. Subash Chander Sharma while addressing the students in his speech emphasized on how sports help much more than just its physical aspects, it builds character and develops team spirit. |
