Jammu, Feb 12: J&K Wrestling Association (JKWA) today conducted selection of 11 wrestlers of Jammu and Kashmir at Indoor Stadium complex at M.A Stadium Jammu for 38th Boys Free Style, Greco Roman Style a 22nd Girls Sub-Junior (Cadet) National Wrestling Championship-2019, scheduled to be held at Cuttack, Odisha from 17th to 20th February.
The selection trials were held in presence of Ravi Singh, Sports Officer, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Stadium, Ashok Singh, Sports Officer, Dheeraj Sharma NIS Coach, Swarn John Secretary, Raju Sharma Treasurer, JEW Wrestling Association along with other members of JKWA and coach Ravinder Kumar, Coach.
During screening 11 players were selected in boys' category which includes, Varun Sharma (Free Style) (48 Kg), Raman Singh (Free Style) (51 Kg), Keshav Singh (Free Style) (55 Kg), Natter Singh (Free Style) (60 Kg), Yuvraj Singh (Free Style) (65 Kg), Sultan Singh (Free Style) (71 Kg), Kunal Verma (Greco Roman Style) (51 Kg), Abhay Singh (Greco Roman Style) (55 Kg), Vishal Singh (Greco Roman Style) (60 Kg), Aman Singh (Greco Roman Style) (65 Kg), and Baljeet Kumar (Greco Roman Style) (71 Kg) have been selected. Dushyant Sharma, President J&K Wrestling Association and Ravi Singh, Sports Officer put good wishes to all the players who were selected in the trails. |
