DB directs State to file latest status report

Infant abandonment, trafficking case

Srinagar, Feb 12: In reference to an alleged incident of abandonment and trafficking of an infant, a Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice and Justice Sanjeev Kumar directed State to file the latest status report regarding welfare and wellbeing of the concerned, before March 11, 2019.
This significant direction has been passed in a petition was filed by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Budgam before High Court on an alleged incident of abandonment and Trafficking of an infant, born of an alleged victim of rape at Classic Hospital, Hyderpora, Srinagar.
