Lecturer allegedly misbehaves with teacher, damages government property | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 12: A teacher posted in Boys Higher Secondary School Reasi was allegedly thrashed and abused by a lecturer of Sanskrit discipline of the same school in front of Principal of the school. The teacher has lodged a written compliant with the concerned police seeking action against the lecturer. As per reports, the lecturer Pawan Khajuria of Reasi Boys Higher secondary school broke a chair in the school ground. Teacher Amit Gupta who is also NCC officer of the school objected him for destroying government property. "As soon as the teacher objected to the action of lecturer the latter started hurling abuses in front of female staff members of the school", said sources adding that the lecturer also thrashed the teacher. Meanwhile, after getting the information about the thrashing and hurling of abuses by lecturer, Principal of the School-Sudershan Pandoh called urgent meeting of all the staff members of the school. "During meeting, the lecturer started misbehaving with the Principal of the school and the teacher captured the whole incident in his mobile phone and sensing the activity of the teacher, lecturer immediately tried to snatch the mobile phone of the teacher", revealed the video evidence which is in the possession of Early Times. However, the teacher also approached concerned police with written complainant and the police got conducted the medical examination of the said teacher. Chief Education Officer (CEO) Reasi-Nirmal Choudhary while talking to Early Times admitted that the incident is in his notice and when he talked with Principal of the school telephonically he stated that he had settled down the issue. Director School Education (DSE)-Anuradha Gupta said that the she is unaware of the matter. She further said that if this thing has happened she will personally look into this matter. |
