Birla Edutech launches Birla Open Minds International School in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 12: Birla Edutech Limited (BEL), a Yash Birla Group company launched Birla Open Minds International School, Jammu; adding to their strong network of over 80 schools across India. It is the first Birla School in Jammu, and was inaugurated by Nirvaan Birla, Head Business Development, Birla Edutech Limited; Shilpa Potnis Vice President Birla Edutech Limited and Pushpita C. Head Academics Birla Edutech Limited.
The school will be a K12 school, with state of the art facilities for the students. Keeping up with the inclusion of technology in all aspects related to education, BOMIS Jammu boasts of IT enabled classrooms and Robotic Labs. These facilities will be instrumental in developing a technological quotient of the students from an early age. The school will also host several other facilities like integrated Math, Science and Language labs, GPRS enabled transport system and Sports assistance of international standards.
An important highlight of BOMIS is the curriculum uniqueness and the importance given to extra-curricular activities. Visual and performing arts, life skills program and sports have been given significance that is at par with academic activities in the institute. The student teacher ratio will be maintained at 15:1, for individualized attention.
