JKNPP castigates attachment of Jammu doc
2/20/2019 10:29:18 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 20: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has castigated the arbitrary attachment of Dr. Amit Kumar, DM Student of Cardiology SKIMS for a facebook post.
Harsh Dev Singh said that the baseless sacking of Dr. Amit Kumar vide order No. SIMS-241 (PER) of SKIMS dated 17-02-2019 was no less than a 'Tughlaki Farman' having an intention to quell the voice of the people and their victimization on regional lines under the garb of SRO-525.
He said that the mode and manner of attachment of the Jammu based doctor clearly pointed towards the biased approach of the Kashmir centric mindset. The complaint was made against the doctor on 16th February for alleged "infuriating comments on facebook post", the enquiry committee was constituted the very same day and adverse report given by the enquiry committee within one day i.e. 17-02-2019.
"This clearly indicated malafides on the part of authorities concerned. The doctor had merely suggested that the armed terrorist needed no sympathy and should be eliminated", he divulged. He said that such kind of harassment and victimization of Jammu based employees was unacceptable and sought immediate revocation of the arbitrary order issued by Director SKIMS.
Further accusing the govt for running two set of laws in the State, Harsh Dev Singh said that the discriminatory sacking of Dr. Amit Kumar under SRO-525 had once again reflected bias against the employees of Jammu region and raised the eyebrows over the credibility and fairness of the govt. He said that it was reported by a section of media that one Saalika Masood from Kashmir who was also posted in M&HE department had allegedly posted anti-India and pro- Pak remarks on her Facebook account last year.
The non- initiation of action on the employee who openly incited sedition on the social media had corroborated the fact that the valley based employees were enjoying the patronage of the 'biased administration' which had one point agenda of promoting the secessionist agenda in the State.
The silence of the BJP over the termination of Dr. Amit and the anti-national utterances of Saalika Masood had unveiled the imbecility, incompetence and treachery of the Saffron leaders. They not only deserved condemnation but political sacking by the people in the days to come, Harsh maintained. While demanding revocation of SRO-525, he sought immediate reinstatement of Dr. Amit Cardiology Deptt of SKIMS with dignity and honour. He said that Panthers party shall fight tooth and nail against the arbitrary sacking of the medico until justice was ensured to him.
