Doors of dialogue with Pakistan has been shut by India | | | Time for talks with Pakistan is over, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said while asserting that hesitation to take action against terrorism and those who support it is akin to encouraging the menace. This way possibilities of bilateral talks between India and Pakistan seem remote. Already New Delhi had placed preconditions for reopening of the doors for dialogue and that included end of export of terror to India, including Jammu and Kashmir. But the latest decision on the part of India to close the doors for dialogue is the Lethpora armed attack on a CRPF convoy in which more than 43 personnel were killed. This is the source of anger and Modi as head of the Government of India is bitter about the role of Pakistan in staging a fidayeen attack on the CRPF convoy. India and its Government have given a free hand to the Army to reply to the dastardly act by Pakistani terrorists In fact Prime Minister Modi has given instructions to the Army to choose the time for action and suitable place where to strike. This way relations between India and Pakistan have nosedived. Only a third country can intervene and motivate Pakistan and India to hold talks for smoothening their ties. This time it is war like situation and since both India and Pakistan are nuclear countries any war between the two can be a sign of disaster. This way Pakistan needs to understand that opting for war against India can be risky because India has not only bigger man power but highly sophisticated weapons which could penetrate in any part of Pakistan. Already Pakistan's supporters in Kashmir, the separatists have been isolated with the withdrawing of security cover though some of these separatists have claimed that they had never requested the Government to provide security cover but indications are their movement may be curtailed because of the withdrawal of the security cover. Now that two terrorists from Afghanistan and loyal to Masoor Azhar have been killed it has given a lot of satisfaction to the angry people who wanted the lethpora killers to be dead. But it is in the interest of Pakistan to try for building ties with India and after the Most Favoured Nation status, which was given by India to Pakistan, has been withdrawn Pakistan's economy may be hit hard. Hence Pakistan is to build rapport with India in the interest of people of Pakistan. |
