Early Times Report Vijaypur, Feb 22: Exposing tall claims administration due to yesterday night rainfall Keso Chowk turned into pond. Due to water logging people facing problems in the area, as a result, angry anger broke out against the withdrawal of rain water accumulated to two feet of the people of village keso. People protested strongly against PWD and made a strong protest and demanded action soon. Performance against PWD was done under the supervision of Kuldeep Verma, Sarpanch of the keso Manhasa Panchyat, in which large number of youth participated with Kuldeep Verma like Ajay Rehan, Gulshan Kumar, Aman Kumar, Amerik, Buti Ram, Hrithik etc. On talking to Sarpanch Kuldeep, he said that the main square of Keso village has completely submerged from the rainy night. Passengers and two-wheeler drivers have to face difficulties every time with the waterfalls in the Keso Chowk. Students coming to school also have to reach houses by passing through rain water gathered in the chowk. Kuldeep said that there is a gathering of rain water in Keso Chowk over the last several years. Despite repeated appeals from the local authorities concerned departmental officers, the water clearance system was not established. Due to the coming of rain, the Keso Chowk takes the form of a pond. Sarpanch Kuldeep said that due to the expansion of Border Road, the height of the road towards north direction has increased considerably. In such a way, it is not possible to get water of Keso Chowk on a drain. People said that the special drain for the water clearance of Keso Chowk should be constructed by the concerned Road and Building Construction Department. But the offer and demand of people from the concerned department are not being noticed. |
