| Excise sleuths conduct raids in Kathua, 1250 kgs Lahan destroyed | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 22: Excise Department destroyed 1250 Kgs of Lahan during different raids carried out against illicit liquor in Excise Range Kathua. On the directions of the Excise Commissioner Talat Parvez Rohella and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Jammu S. Amarjeet Singh & ETO Excise Range Kathua, Rafie Naik, the Excise Team Kathua led by Inspectors Excise Razi Ahmad & Arun Kumar, SI Amit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar along with Excise Guards Rajinder Singh, Akeel Ahmad & Mohd Sharief raided the Banyari, Chibbachak & Chakdrab Khan to arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor. In the process more than 1250 Kgs of Lahan raw material of illicit liquor, which is highly hazardous and injurious for health was recovered by the raiding team from state land & later destroyed on spot. |
