| Man attempts suicide | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: A man today tried to end his life by jumping into river Tawi from Tawi Bridge falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
Police said that Om Singh of Hans Raj of Beli Charana appeared on Tawi Bridge and jumped into the river Tawi and in the meantime passersby informed the police. After getting the information police reached the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for treatment. Police said that during questioning it came to light that owing to some domestic problem he took such an extreme step. Police have registered a case and started further investigation. |
