| CVPP acting like east India company: Bhandari | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Feb 26: Social activist and youth leader of District Kishtwar Joginder Bhandari has strongly criticized the management of Chenab Valley Power projects (CVPP) for its failure to provide employment to qualified deserving unemployed youths of the district. Bhandari has said that the management of Chenab Valley Power projects has recruited a large number of youths from outside the state through backdoor in the recent past at the cost of local qualified youths. He said some of Kishtwari youths have been engaged in CVPP for polishing and cleaning purposes of their officers that too on contract bases which will not be tolerated any longer. Bhandari has castigated CVPP for acting like east India company ignoring qualified unemployed youths of the district at the same time providing permanent employment to youths belonging to outside the state in CVPP. He has criticized the local leadership of District Kishtwar for remaining mum for callous being adopted by the management of CVPP and AFCONS company in Pakal Dul hydroelectric project where the companies management are treating the labourers like a slave. Bhandari has appealed all the unemployed youths of District Kishtwar to get united and oppose the east India policy adopted by CVPP and AFCONS company. |
