| J&K branch of ICAI awarded as best branch | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India was conferred with the award for the Highly Commended Branch in northern region during the period January 2018 to December 2018. CA B R Maheshwari, Past President of the ICAI presented the award to CA. Ajay Kumar Gupta (Chairman), CA. Shalay Razdan (Vice-Chairman), CA. Anish Abrol (Secretary) & CA. Jatinder Jaswal (Treasurer) for ''Highly Commended Branch (Small/Micro)'' for the Year 2018-19 out of 16 Branches of NIRC at a glittering annual award function organized at Hotel the Park, 15, Sansad Marg, Hanuman Road Area, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Central Council Members, Office bearers & Executive members of Northern India regional council were also present at the Annual Prize Distribution function along with a host of Chartered Accountants & CA students. The award is presented annually to the best performing branches of ICAI across all regions taking into consideration various parameters of excellence in performance. Under the chairmanship of CA. Ajay Kumar Gupta, the branch successfully conducted numerous continuing professional education programs and workshops where eminent speakers participated from all over the country. Senior Chartered Accountants of the Branch were felicitated to recognise their professional contribution. Various activities for students of chartered accountancy were undertaken. Platforms were organized for better interaction of the members with the Govt. Departments like Income Tax, Commercial Taxes, members of Trade & industry etc on branch level. |
