| Bodies of two newly born babies found | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: Mystery shrouded after body of a newborn female baby was found in bushes at Janipur area while body of a newly born male was found in a deserted house at Miran Sahib area.
According to the information, some passersby found newly born baby in the Sivalkapuram area and subsequently they informed police.
After getting the information, Janipur police reached the spot and found body of a newly born female baby which wrapped in a cloth.
Police said that they have shifted the body of the newly born baby to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) and doctors stated that she was two days old.
Police said that they have questioned the nearby residents but found no clue about the parents of the deceased baby.
Police have registered a case in this regard and started further investigation to identify the parents of the deceased.
Meanwhile, a newly born male baby was found in a deserted house falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib police station.
Police said that they have received information in this regard and acting on the information they reached the spot, found body of a male baby.
The body was shifted to the GMC&H and further investigation is on. |
