| Former Director Information castigates Mehbooba Mufti over her statement on Article 35A | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 26: Narinder Singh, former Director Information has strongly condemned PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti after she cautioned Centre against playing with fire and pushing people of Kashmir towards war if Article 35A is scrapped and that there wouldn't be anyone to hold the tri-colour.
Singh said it is not only a threat but instigating and provoking the innocent people of the state for rebellion against Centre for her vested interests. He added that Article 35-A is a legal matter and it should be dealt with legally, even Lord Krishan Baghwan has justified the fight for rights and termed it as Righteous war, but it should be fought democratically in the present context. Singh said that Article 370 gives special status to our state constitutionally and is beneficial for the people of J&K state but it should not have been exploited by Mehbooba by saying that situation would be more dangerous that we have been witnessing since 1947. |
