| Residents of Fatehpur demand transport facilities | | |

RAJOURI, Mar 5: Students of Fatehpur Ghurian, Darhali Morh, Ramzani Morh and several other villages demanded for proper public transport facilities for students and general public. Students alleged that there is no transport facility from Rajouri to Holy Shrine (Dargha Sain Ganji RA) the distance from Rajouri to Dargha is 10 km strange thing is that there is also a tourist park near Dargha but tourist department is also in deep slumber and they have not asked traffic department to make arrangements for tourists and shrine visitors. A local young girl namely Er Rubia Sabri with several other students told that this road was the main road between Rajouri and Darhal but people and students are facing lots of difficulties since a new link is connected between Darhal and Rajouri from Darhali pull Rajouri . She further said that students can't reach school in time due to non availability of public transport facilities. There are only few tempo travelers on said route and they are free to charge fare from passengers and no one is asking them for this act she added. Students and public are left with only option that is tempo traveler. After standing on road side for several hours they are not confirm about any vehicle. She said I saw every day many serious patients standing on road side for two hours continuously and waiting for tempo travelers. She appealed DDC Rajouri and Traffic department to look in this matter and provide busses and matadors for this route at the earliest. |
