'Detaining few terrorists won't help, Pak has to handover terror bosses to India' | Airstrikes rattle Pak rulers | |
Early Times Report jammu, Mar 5: Airstrikes carried out by the Indian Air Force jets at Balakot deep inside Pakistani territory have rattled the authorities in the neighbouring country. Media reports suggest that on Tuesday security agencies in Pakistan detained 44 under-observation members of proscribed organisations, including Mufti Abdul Raoof and Hamad Azhar - who is believed to be the brother of Jaish-e-Mohammad leader Masood Azhar. They, according to the reports, have been taken in preventive detention for investigation. Pakistan government on Monday had notified that the properties and assets owned by the terror groups operating in Pakistan would be sealed. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "The airstrike at JeM terror camp has driven home a point that Pakistan cannot get away with terror anymore. India has taken a stand. It's clear that Indian security forces can strike within the enemy territory and Line of Control is no barrier." He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that every act of terror would be avenged and whosoever tries to bleed India would have to bleed also. "New India's policy on terror is clear that terrorists and the supporters won't spared," the analyst added. Referring to the decision of the Pakistan government to detain the terrorists, including brother of Maulana Masood Azhar, the analyst said, "Pakistan has come under pressure and knows it very well that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given freehand to the armed forces to act against the terrorists within Kashmir and outside the Valley." The analyst said, "In the past also whenever Pakistan has been cornered it has pretended that it has decided to act against terrorists and their bosses but whenever pressure is released these terror masterminds are set free and are allowed to roam freely." He said that there is no doubt about the fact that Balakot airstrikes have created panic in entire Pakistan and the people at the helm have realized that IAF can destroy entire Pakistan within few minutes and their so-called army and Pakistan Air Force won't even get a chance to react. "Hitting a terror camp at Balakot in dead of the night is just a warning that if you (Pakistan) try to indulge in one misadventure you would cease to exist and the terrorists you are harboring in your backyard would be responsible for your (Pakistan) destruction. It's for Pakistan rulers to decide whether they want their destruction or want to take decisive action against the terrorists," the analyst added. He said just arresting a few people and seizing the assets of the terror organizations is not enough. "Pakistan need to take an extra step and handover terror bosses to India as they are wanted for their crimes in this country," the analyst said. |
