Udhampur, Mar 5: National Vice-President of National Conference-Swararn Singh along with NC leader Jagdish Bharadwaj, National Conference Additional Secretary-Pradhuman Singh, Treasurer Ashok Kumar today tour various areas including Kava, Lower Kava, Dewreh, of Udhampur district.
During tour, Swaran Singh also hold meetings with locals SHe also held few meetings.
Speaking on the problem of people, Panch Bhanu Pratap said that today Baba Pad is a famous pilgrimage place and the faith of the people is associated with this place of worship and thousands of people come to this place but this place has lagged behind the government's ruthlessness and people are being deprived of basic amenities. People demanded to make a paved road from Baba Pad to Panditra mohalla, from Baba Pad to Lot village. Swaran Singh heard the demands of the people of the areas and assured them that he would convey their demand to the existing officers and their problems would be resolved soon. |
