JAMMU, Mar 9: The International Women's Day is celebrated on 8th March every year to celebrate womanhood, their social, political, cultural, economic achievements and to acknowledge their significant contributions to the society. In a similar move, fitness expert, Pavit Kour Director of B.A.S.T.E Space Of Performing Arts organized a fitness session for women and kids at Sidhra, Tawi Vihar Colony, Jammu. This first of its kind event organised in Jammu was aimed to empower women and introduce them to the world of fitness and healthy living. Corporator, Shama Akhtar was the Chief Guest at the event and she appreciated the efforts put in by Pavit for women on this special day. She said, " It was an exhilarating experience to take a break from regular work and focus on health. These easy-to-follow tips given by Pavit will help all to keep up with your health and fitness along with the diet." She added that she would want women to make health their priority list as it often goes unnoticed until it's too late. The event was sponsored by Grand Palms , Aroma Restaurant, Dabur and Dawa Khana.
