Jammu, Mar 9: Newly appointed patron of the Peoples Democratic Party Muzaffar Hussain Beigh on Saturday once again skipped an important party meeting in Srinagar.
The meeting was chaired by the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar. The meeting, sources said, discussed the prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting witnessed participation of all senior party functionaries including MPs, former ministers and legislators.
However, what raised several eyebrows was the fact that one of party's founding members and recently appointed patron Muzaffar Hussain Beigh remained absent on the occasion and instead his wife attended the meeting. |
