| KVK Reasi celebrates Women's day | | |  Early Times Report
Reasi, Mar 9: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu(SKUAST-J) celebrated the International Women's Day here at KVK, Reasi campus.
The programme was attended by a large number of women of the area and was organized under the guidance of Associate Director Extension and Incharge of KVKs of SKUAST-J, Dr.R.K.Arora. The programme was initiated by Dr.Banarsi Lal, Scientist and Head of KVK, Reasi with the warm welcome of the participants. Dr.Arvinder Kumar spoke on entrepreneurship development in agriculture and added that they should adopt the advance technologies in agriculture. During the programme KVK scientists also distributed mushroom spawn among the participants. In this event programme, women farmers interacted with the KVK scientists and asked them various quarries which the scientists answered in a satisfactorily way.
The programme was assisted by Manohar Lal and Sanjay Kumar and concluded by Dr. Banarsi Lal with the formal vote of thanks. |
