BLSKS exhibits Dogri musical play "Navi Chetna"

JAMMU, Mar 9: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanastha (BLSKS) exhibit 251th Saturday Series Musical play Navi Chetna to observe National Women and Girl HIV, AIDS awareness day 2019 in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education at Disco Road, Janipur Jammu. The theme of musical play was "HIV Prevention Starts With Me".
The play based to raise the awareness about the need of test and treatment of HIV among women, girls and pregnant women. The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Anupriya Sharma, President Medical Cell J&K .Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government, Dr. A. C. Bhagat, Former Chief Officer Department of Animal Husbandry, J&K Government, V.K. Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India J.K.Raina, Producer, Director Films and Dr. Anju Dogra, J&K Govt. Heath Department. were the Guest of Honors.
The programme was commenced with the songs and the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor. Awareness item on Prevention of Polio -"Doo Boond" was also presented by the artists of BLSKA during the program. The Musical Play "NAVI CHETNA" was written, produced and directed by M.L.Dogra (Chairman, BLSKS).
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Chahat Chadha, Renu Saproo, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Druv Pandit, Bhoomika Chib, Ujwal Sharma, Rakshit Sharma, Heena, Priya, Azen Ali, Bablu Kumar, Sawan Koul, Asha Koul, and Bodh Raj.
