| 40 quarters of illicit liquor seized | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Mar 13: In order to check the trafficking of illicit liquor, its illegal sale & purchase. Today, on the directions of SSP Ramban Ms Anita Sharma KPS, a police party led by SHO Ramban Insp Vijay Kotwal along with ICPP Rajghar SI Sunil Dutt under supervision of Dy. SP HQ Ramban Asgar Malik & under close supervision of Addational SP Sanjay Parihar laid a naka near Kunda More Rajghar. During checking & frisking one suspected person started fleeing from the spot to avoid checking,but the alert cop's chased the suspected person after a brief chase and apprehended him. On search recovered 40 Quarters of illicit liquor from a bag which he was carrying. On questioning he revealed his identity as Kunj Lal son of Sanat Ram resident of Kunda, Jatgali distt. Ramban. In this regard case FIR no.50/19 U/S 48(a) of excise act stand registered against the accused person at P/S Ramban. |
